if a game is released region free, how do you determine what the source was (pal or ntsc)?

is there anything different about a region free release compared to a ntsc release? is resolution the same?

If it is region free you will see no difference as it is made to play in both regions (or sometimes all three). So it will play at the screen rate that it is suppose to.
