NEED HELP! (Newbie Here)

Ok.. so first off I just bought a PSP about a month ago. I didnt even know there was a way you could just download games to put on the PSP. Yeah I should of known better. Heh.

Anyways, so yeah now I'm intrested. I've tried to read through some topics, and yeah its like a different language to me. So what I was wondering.. can someone please point me to the right direction of a good newbie guide on what I need to get to play download games on my PSP.. like a how to guide or something.

On your psp, go to Settings > System settings > System Information.
Beside 'System Software', what does it say?
If it says '3.51' or above, you can't do anything yet.

wrong,if u are 3.51 n above,u can use pandora's battery to go to 1.50 lol..

Yeah.. my System Software is 3.71 .. so am I screwed or do I have options where its not gonna mess up my PSP?

for firmware 3.51 and higher, you will need pandora's battery and magic memory stick to downgrade and/or put custom firmware.
