I cannot see Pictures on my PSP

Help - I place pictures in my Photo file via computer, No problem.
I can see them there. Disconnect PSP from PC check photo folder and no images are stored???
Tried .BMP, .GIF, .JPG nothing at all display's.
Anyone advise?

Into the Photo folder. When i hook it to the pc i can see teh pictures in the folder. PSP on it own just states 'No Images'

Was it placed in X:/PHOTO?
Or was it placed in X:/PSP/PHOTO?

It was placed in x/photo have also tried x/psp/photo. Nothing.
The pics ar ein the psp i just cannot view them - Deleted Photo folder and created a new one and still nothing.

Backup all your files then format your memory stick via the PSP.
Now try it again.

I would be right in saying that all the files could be backed up onto my pc?
