Mod without soldering?

I did search and couldn't find any answers.

I heard from someone today that there is a plug and play device for the wii where you do not have to solder any chips.

The called it the wiikey but all I find are chips for that.

Was the person mistaken?

The Wiikey requires soldering. There is a device that still requires opening the case and works with PIC chips and in theory, wiikey chips. This solution does not look safe due to the lack of connection.

yes it still requires a modchip but you don't have to solder the chip to the board less soldering required

So really there is no non soldering fix?

I never solder before but I know someone who has so I guess I will go wiikey or wiinja way.

What fo you prefer out of those two? Also I have a launch system too so it would be compatible I assume.
