hi i recently bought a wii with modchip from a small store, stupidly i did not ask what the chip was at the time (they are now saying wiikey), i have managed to get some content working (romsetn64), but none of the games i have downloaded work, also i have tried burning a set up disk for the wiikey to turn on the regionunlocker also to no avail, burnt onto dvd+r and -r. using nero 6,7, and imgburn. this is driving me crazy help!?!!!

what speed are you burnig at? 4X is the fastest you should burn at!
also only use dvd -r and i use either Maxell or Verbatim.

why ONLY dvd-r?? i use DVD+R Imation and have had two successful burns in two attempts at 4x speed.

I've tried a few different brands and had varying success with each one - i.e. good and bad burns. The point is, just because a couple of burns were fine doesn't mean that all burns will be fine on that media. ;)

Recently I went and bought some verbatim dvd-r and so far they've all been good.
