I just got a new Premium, LOT#739
CSON, no 65nm(SUCKS WITH A 739!!!)
, but it does have a BENQ drive
so heres my question, even with the new firmware for BENQ and quit speed firmware is BENQ far better then Samsung & Hitatchi drives
I do have an Samsung mod that Im using now, just soo loud and it doesnt have the extra heatsink at all nor the HDMI.

Any thaughts? Im only thinking of keeping cause its HDMI and has the BENQ & extra heatsink.

I would switch and sell the sammy just because of the common laser dying problem in those. However thats only my opinion. If you want just keep it until it dies which may be soon or awile. you can never tell.

I just did the same thing yesterday. I have a Sam/ms28 running through vga at 1920x1080 and I was curious if the hdmi would be much better. So I picked up an Elite/Benq.

The Benq is noticeably quieter. Flashing it was a breeze. And there is quite abit of a difference between vga/1920x1080 vs. hdmi/1080p.

I'm keeping the Elite and selling my Premium.

IM just bumbed it wasnt a 65 nm , but o well its new and next year is the video card upgrade so whats another year.
