so stick with wiikey then even though i got a d2c wii model?

its difficult... cause if its the wiikey thats causing problems then cool cheap buy another wiikey and install it right? but also if its not wiikey then nintendo would repair it or swap for a new one and thats it right??

wiikey ONLY for d2a or d2b chipset wiis
d2ckey ONLY for d2c chipset wiis

if u have a wiikey installed now you CANNOT have a d2C chipset wii must be d2a or b

if u truly have a d2c chipset wii then u CANNOT have a wiikey installed

sorry i got confused... i got the d2b or whatever it is....the wiikey one.... but i know that if i send to nintendo then they would give me the d2c model and i would have to get the mod chip that works with this one.....

Hi there, did you get this sorted? i am thecheekymonkey from console workshop. yeah for the immiediate future i have shut down buisiness wise, however i will help as much as i can.

Basically your suffering from a faulty console, its very rare but it does happen, a quick google search should show others with similar symptoms, if you wish i can remove the wiikey from your system ready for sending back, however you will receive a d2ckey chipset replacement more than likely.

End of the day buddy, the wiikey or any drive chip for that matter only affects the drive itself, this will be shown by openeing the console, removing the drive and powering it on, you will still have the graphics anomolies.


Anyways, i do hope this helps.,
