3 more days everyone, this is probably the game I'm most anticipated. I was just wondering if anyone knew if this game was originally designed for the PS3, or the 360? I think it was the PS3 cause it started off an exclusive, the only reason I ask is cause I don't want to get the ported one, I want the one it was originally designed on. thx.

Neither the PS3 version nor the 360 version is ported. Ubisoft did what Infinity Ward did for COD4 and developed on each platform independently. Ubisoft has repeatedly said that the PS3 and 360 versions are equivalent, so which one you should get depends on your own preference.

Yes it was originally intended to be an exclusive for PS3. But I guess they realized how much money they'd be losing by not marketing to the full customer base, so they decided to make it for PC and X360 also.

UMMM NO, it was Ken Kutaragi's Fault we lost a lot of exclusives. Inckluding Assassins Creed

The game STARTED OFF being made a PS3 exclusive until they decided a few months later to make a 360 version.

Actually, it was first announced by Ubisoft as "Project Assassins" in 2005 for Xbox. However, the next year they showed the actual game as Assasin's Creed for PS3 with no announcements for PC or 360 versions...but then they decided to release for 360/PC as well...

I just hope they give me my money worth like Infinity Ward did with COD 4.I took some extra vacation time for this game this weekend.
