my nero burner only reaches 1% when burning but when I burn VCDs it works perfectly.Help! What do I do??

A bit more info would be helpfull

What type of files are you trying to burn
Which app in Nero are you using.....
go to this location,

Nero 6 history log location: Program Files>Ahead>Nero>NeroHistory.txt

Nero 7 history log location: Program Files>Nero>Nero 7>Core>NeroHistory

VISTA: ?. Desktop/Your Comp Name/App Data/Roaming/Ahead/Nero History
and post your last Nero history log
