I was copying things to my PSP and my computer froze so I restarted it and now everytime I copy something to the PSP MS it says "Cannot Copy *FILENAME*: The request could not be performed because of an I/O Device Error. I have tried copying things to the PSP on a different computer and it works fine. On the computer with the I/O error I have tried a new memory stick and tried formatting my memory stick but still have no luck. I am trying to copy over a N64 ROM file "Super Mario" that is 8 MB Big. I have 15MB left on my memory stick. I tried to copy over a song file that was 4.75MB and that worked fine. It also hangs on copying homebrew EBOOTS over to the PSP. All this works fine on an other computer.

ok not sure if this is it but your psp drivers on the computer might have somehow obtained a fault. try going into device manager then uninstall the 'Sony PSP USB Device' driver which is in the disc drives catagory

Actually I fixed it by changing my hard drive to master from cable select.
