Hi guys, sorry for asking stupid questions but I'm new here.
So here's the problem. I have PAL Wii with 2.1E firmware and Wiikey installed. I tried many games with no problems until now...Metroid Prime 3 and Super Paper Mario are the ones. So...

Super Paper Mario IT'S PAL LIKE MY WII.
Ok. Burned it on Sony DVD -R and Verbatim DVD +R and both don't work.
Since the game is PAL (just like my Wii) I didn't used Brick Blocker and so the game asked for an update. I did not accepted it but some guy told me that it wont brick my wii, becouse the game is PAL. Is that true? I also tried using the Brick Blocker...the Wii recognized the game but when I cilcekd "Start" - bam! Just black screen. I can eject the DVD and plug out the power...so any ideas?

Metroid Prime 3 Also PAL version like my Wii.
Actually the problem is the same...

All the games I tried before work fine. I always used Verbatim DVD +R/-R. I found that many pepole also encountered this problem.

If you have a PAL Wii it's fine to accept the update from a PAL game. If it's NTSC you need to be careful.
