Did you press the brightness button at all? It's not very common, but sometimes that'll bring up your screen & all will be fine.
Have you tried to enter the Recovery Menu? First, take out the Pandora set up (Pandora battery & Magic memory stick). Then put in a regular battery. Now turn on your PSP & VERY QUICKLY press & hold down the upper right shoulder button while the PSP turns on (don't let go of that button until it's turned on). If all goes well you'll see an unusual looking menu with different options.
Give that a try & then let us know if you can enter the Recovery Menu (or not).

i have the same problem. I have fw version 3.71 m33-4. i can bring up the m33 recovery menu, but when i try to run the "/PSP/GAME/RECOVERY/EBOOT.PBP" , nothing happens except for my psp restarting and bringing up the screen which says "setting information is corrupted. Press the O button to repair and restore default settings.", aka the blue bricked screen of death. i press O and nothing happens, it just returns to the blue screen of death. Do you think i might be missing files? PLEASE HELP!
