is it possible to make a dvdr (dvd5/dvd9)of WMV files (or others format)and play it on xbox 360?
If yes,how?

You can just burn the WMV files on a DVD and play in in the video menu. 360 is supposed to be able to play h.264 too, but I've never messed with it. I've downloaded almost 100 movies and the complete 1st season of Heroes in HD-WMV. It's pretty awesome I must say.
