I recently tried using imgburn to burn some video files that roxio easy media 9 won't add to a disc to burn because I'm told the files cannot be edited so it can't be added and imgburn is giving me a message that the file is invalid or unsupported image file format. The files I'm trying to burn to a disc I downloaded through bittorent and not limewire that never give me problems like this so anyone have any suggestions? With roxio I'm given the message there are no media files in the folder that match the filter setting and to change them click the filter for media type buttons. And also that media manager manages only media type folders so anyone know how to get around a problem like this ?

ok cant really read up whats happenning here, so could you list the download files what you have here, then we can go from there, also state your project aim (just burn) or (convert from 1 to another) ? this sort of thing...

then we can get you sailing good bud...

Nothing here to see, move along folks.

The files I have are AVI and as stated in my thread I just want to burn them to a DVD+R disc to watch on my DVD player and have found a program that does this but displays a message in the middle of the screen that if I want this removed to purchase their product at full price and something called ashampoo burning studio 7 that I just purchased but already has ruined a disc I tried to burn so anyone used ashampoo because I clicked on " burn movies" to create a DVD video to play on any DVD player and it will only play on my computer. Is what writing speed I choose important or if I choose 16:9 or 4:3 for what screen speed I want?

your avi files need to be converted to be able to be put on dvd, so a program like convertxtodvd would be a great program to use to do what you are wanting to do, good luck
