Help with a TA-082 mod

I have a TA-082 then downgraded to 1.50 and upgraded to 2.71SE-C. I have been out of the scene for a while and I want to upgrade the firmware on my psp so I can play some of the new games.

Can someone please help me upgrade to 3.71 M33-3??????

Please help. I tried using that guide but it requires me to be on 1.5 or an OE fw. I then tried recovering to 1.5 but I either cant find a working EBOOT or its just not working period. Since that didnt work I tried using the Winstaller to upgrade to 3.03 OE firmware but that too isnt working. I really could use some direction. Any help would be great!

I am aware of the website and I tried downloading that eboot from that website. I put it into the recovery folder and booted to my recovery menu. When i select that option in the recovery menu my screen turns blank and doesnt do anything for hours.

Well then it's in the wrong folder. It has nothing to do with your eboot.pbp being wrong.

Ive tried it in both the X:\PSP\GAME\RECOVERY and the X:\PSP\GAME150\RECOVERY folders. X:\PSP\GAME\RECOVERY is what the directions in one of these threads said to do.
