HI,
ALL I NEED TO KNOW IS; LIKE ON FIRMWARE 3.52 M33 4 THERE WAS NO NEED FOR THE UMD TO BE PRESENT IS THIS THE SAME AS THE NEW FIRMWARE CURRENTLY AVAILABLE. AS MY UMD DRIVE IS CURRENTLY TOTALLY BROKEN AND PLEASE DON'T JUST GIVE ME A 1 WORD ANSWER BUT AT LEASE 1 SENTENCE PLEASE AS THERE IS NO AVAILABLE DOWN GRADER IF I AM STUCK ON 3.71 M33

no all you need to do is go on the VSH MENU by pressing SELECT and then go down to UMD ISO MODE and choose Sony NP9660 then the ISO will play

Actually, Sony 9660 is faster and better. (I think it's more versatile.)
