i have downloaded many themes FROM THE OFFICIAL PSP WEBSITE .......this will not brick my psp right?????????i have a 3.72 official firmware

it also says that the cookies theme comes with psp 2000 systems
i have a 1004 this wont brick my psp right????

it is said in the official site that firmwares from 3.70 onwards can change the theme
if so can i do it
i hav downloaded many themes from uk.playstation.com and pspimages.net
will this brick my psp????

YES, it will work.
NO, it will NOT brick, as they are placed on the memory stick.

Just make sure you add a folder called THEME to ms0:/PSP. So you will see this: ms0:/PSP/THEME. All the .ptfs go in there. Much faster method of changing themes than swapping all that f0 stuff. However, I still prefer that method as all the themes are better anyway.

^^Actually, yes, custom themes work on ofw too (3.70 and up), so long as it's compatible, because Sony put a primortial theme boot to the memory card, then the f0.
ms0:\ means memory stick root, the first screen after you plug the PSP in. It should have a PSP folder already on there.
