You need custom firmware, what is your present firmware?

PSP, all the way from 1.00 to 5.50 GEN D2 - DS Lite w/ M3DS Real (M3 Sakura v1.34)
PS3 3.01 - iPod Touch 2G 16GB Jailbroken - Xbox 360 60GB - PC, Q6600, 3GB DDR2, GTX260 (216) 896MB

Then you'll need a Pandora Battery to downgrade your PSP to 1.50 (Or up to 3.71 M33) before you can play downloaded games, if you downgrade to 1.50 then you should upgrade to 3.52 M33-4 afterwards.

You can make a Pandora Battery on any custom firmware PSP, or you can hardmod your own battery if you don't have access to another custom firmware PSP.

Hopefully, you choose the soldering method. If you break a pin off intentionally, the battery can't ever be used again for a normal battery, if you can't solder it back on.

There are plenty of pics on the internet which tell you the correct pins to break/solder.
