How can I tell If my Wiikey been installed correctly other then trying to run a Setup Disk ? I have it installed, but cant tell if my Discs arent working on it or if the Chip isn't installed correctly, any other why to check ?

Well as far as I know if the setup disk runs then it works. I could be wrong but I thought the Wii won't recognise anything except original Wii and GC disks without being chipped. The setup disk is basically a homebrew GC disk so if it shows up and runs then it's an indicator that the chip is fitted though it may still not be fitted correctly.

There is no way to check if your chip is fully working or that wiikey settings have been saved or what firmware your wiikey has other than to try backups to see what will run. However, not all media is read. I use verbatim dvd-r but some use other types of disk. Just try some backups on different media till you find one that works.
