So I'm going for a third time.
I opened the battery and the battery still works.
So far so good.

Now how the heck do I remove the #5 pin without destroying the battery? With what? and how?

P.S. My battery has the small board in the front, not the large one on top.

Thanks alot, I really don't want to fail again, this is starting to get depressing and quite expensive

I will Always be there

If your trying to make a Pandora battery, just stop what your doing. Datel sells a tool battery which puts your psp into service mode, aka Pandora.

Spend the $25, and save your other battery. You'll need that one for later.

Seeing as how you keep ruining your batteries by hard moding, this is a bit cheaper, and its already done for you.

I have a tool battery and works perfectly. They have for both PSP versions; Slim and Fat.

I'd like to order one, but I don't have a credit card, so I can't buy stuff online and they obvioulsy don't sell those in stores..
So my only options is hardmodding one..

That's exactly what you shouldn't do, don't give money to those guys.

Get a tool battery, find a friend who has a newer (Older than 2 months though) official battery that you can hardmod (If they'll let you), or find someone willing to softmod your battery for free (Depends where you live).

-The batteries I got are officials battery, its they one they give with the psp who had 1.50 firmware when bought.
So that's kind of older than 2 months.

-I'd love to get a tool battery but I can't order online, I don't have a credit card

-There is no one I know that could softmod it

So my only option is to hardmod

Well then that's what, 2 years old? I meant a newer battery (Like 5 months etc)

If you don't have CFW or 1.50 to make it then you need to hardmod.

You see Shokz, I could take the tip of a nail to lift/remove the pin.
Its so easy its not even funny, but I'm afraid I'll short the battery while doing so..

As long as you have a fairly steady hand you should be fine.

-First time I tried, I cutted the pin, put in the battery in the psp and it didn't turn on. Some people told me that I could put the cable, open the psp, remove the cable and that if it stays open, it works, I didn't try it out and I can't I trashed the battery.

-Second time I tried, I removed the whole board(so I wouldn't short it out), I cutted the pin, putted the board back in and...same thing again, the psp didn't turn on. Again didn't try the other method with the cable and trashed the battery.

Now this time, I'm not removing the board, I'm going to try to cut the pin, but I'd need to find something small and hard(preferably not in metal so I can't short it) enough to cut the pin without shorthing it..
