Hey all,
I'm new here and wondered if anyone could help me. I live in the UK and have a USA PS3. I used a PS2 NTSC converter to convert the ntsc into PAL so it worked on my t.v, I had no problems playing Fifa 2008 and also formula 1.
however.
I recently bought Raw vs Smackdown 2008 and on my NORMAL (not HD just normal scart) tv, the game appears strange. The wrestlers and the ring sem ok its just visible but it is as if the game is too big to fit onto the screen.
The options menu, Loading screens and the career mode screens are all to big to fit onto my tv screen i can't see them properly. Is anyone else having this problem?
My tv is 19 inch i think but hasnt had a problem with any other games.
thanks

Look into lcd moniters. They are cheaper than tvs for the most part and you can get hi def and widescreen.

one more thing, i havent ever used a computer monitor as a t.v screen before do i need anything but a hd lead?
would rather buy a t.v than a monitor, all the specs for tv's confuses me though so gonna have to do my homework about the different specs for them, e.g 720p and 1080p or 1080i etc etc.
thanks all

You may also need an HDMI to DVI cable depending on what monitor you get (most only have DVI-D ports and not HDMI).
