custom firmware on japanese psp's

i have 2 japanes psp's running Sony 3.71 firmware and am looking to install custom f/w on it. i see from other posts and guides that i'll need to use the pandora battery method but will it just be the same as normal since they are japanese models as i dont want to make an balls up off it. can anyone spare a bit of time to give me a hand.

u will need a pandora battery to do downgrade these.

After downgrading your jap psps using the pandora battery,the process to install cfw remains the same as for any other psp.

the psp's are not mine, i said i woud try to install the custom f/w for my mate, but i told him to check the circuit board inside for the writing that means it cant be done and guess what ?? its there so i wont be doing anything with tem at all. unless someone knows of a way these machines can be done but i dont think so. thanx anyway.
