theres a guide(dont know were tho sos) to removing the warranty sticker without damaging it, then you can keep it intact and put it back on if you have any probs. i did that with mine so i could flash it. mine died 2 weeks ago and now its at M$ gettin fixed :)
p.s i sent mine back with the drive still flashed, they dont even check lol

I'd really like to see that lol. And by the way, how long have you had your 360 for.. I'm just wondering to see how long they last and seeing if being modded has an effect.

i had my console about 3 months, but i had bought it 2nd hand and the console itself was made in 2005 so it had lasted a while.
hopefully should have it back next week but not gonna flash it till the new update is out on the 4th of dec to see if any banning goes on, cos i like to play online
