Hi the forum,newbie so please be patient.recently purchased a psp off ebay running on 3.71 m33-3 firmware and received a disc with some games on , i purchased a new 2gig memory card and was told off seller that i just drag and drop game into iso folder on card, did that but to no avail,it appears game is on card when i check memory used but psp says no games available. thanks in advance for help.

did you also purchase the memory stick from ebay? because that's a big no-no. 99% of ebay memory sticks are fake.

before you put anything on the memory stick, format it with the psp. it will create all the folders you need.

Thanks for the response, yes bought card off e-bay and i did format it first, so proccess i was doing was right? and probaly duff card.

you can check if the memory stick is a real or fake.

in the psp xmb menu, go to game/memory stick. once memory stick is highlighted, press triangle. on the right side, information will pop up. press x, and it will display the info of the memory card

space:...
space left:...
magicgate:...

if magicgate says supported, then it's a real memory stick. if it's unknown or is blank, then it's fake. fake memory sticks are unpredictable at what they do.

also, the games must either be in iso or cso format to work.
