I'm a little confused as to what's going on. Mario Galaxy installs new firmware, right? Does this firmware blocks modchips? So the modchips are releasing counter-firmware?
And, if that's the case, I won't be able to burn Galaxy until Wiid releases an update, right?

wiid needing update to play galaxy is correct

nintendo are jst introducing NEW anti piracy protection measures, not installing counter firmware

Damn, so anyone know the Wiid update status? It seems like a ditched project.
Also, will installing the new firmware damage my system? What is the new anti-piracy measure they're using?
