Put a UMD in or Emulate NO-UMD Mode. If that doesn't work then consider upgrading to 3.71 M33-3.

Now go to configuration > UMD MODE: Select SONY NP9660. Just click on until that comes up. It's fairly simple.

It's not your memory stick, what firmware does your friend's slim have?

Check to see no-umd mode is up again. Get over the fact that your memory stick is the problem! If it actualy was it wouldn't boot the game in the first place so it is NOT your memory stick in this case.

No, would you just listen. The error code 80020148 means there is no UMD inserted. Just trust me, you didn't paste it in the wrong place. If you did, it wouldn't show up. Just go to your VSH menu and enable it for god's sake!

Well it should work then, all I can say is put in a UMD now and just hope it works... and the memory stick is not at fault probly.

Alright, I understand that, but memory sticks do not give off error codes, they just do not work well.
