Pal Wii with authentic wiikey installed
updated to 3.1e
updated to 1.9g, no problems
loaded 1.3 pal disc, set region to on, read speed to 3x
got smg iso, converted to pal using regionfrii (DISC 1)
burnt to a verbatim disc (dvd+r), 2x
stuck it in the wii, loaded fine, asked me to update, I said yes
unplgged the power at about 30%
brickblocker'd the converted pal smg iso (DISC 2)
burnt it to a disc
stuck it in the wii
the disc doesn't load, simply keeps spinning indefinitely in the disk channel
ejected the disc, tried disc 1 again but this time let it update fully
the update reaches about 60% then stalls, sits there for 15mins so I unplugged the power
burnt an (unmodified) ntsc smg to a disc (DISC 3), no regionfrii, no brickblocker
wii cannot load it, disc keeps spinning in the disc channel
now, neither disc 1 or disc 2 or disc 3 can be read, they simply keep spinning
original pal games and back up pal games still work fine
*note: when disc1/2/3 has been inserted, the console wont reset, that is, I press reset and the screen goes black and the power button doesnt turn it off so I have to unplug it.
