So I have updated my WiiKey to 1.9g but in order to get Super Mario Galaxy running I need a higher firmware right? Can I just burn the U-NTSC Super Mario Galaxy and use that to update my Wii? Is it safe, since I have a JAP Wii which is also a NTSC.

it's a SMG problem. read the thread and post there. theres like a million SMG threads. everything on the technical side of things dealing with SMG should be posted there.
