Can an Xbox 360 arcade be modded?

There is a new Xbox for the holiday season called "Xbox 360 Arcade" It's pretty much just a bare-bone Xbox without wireless controllers, I think. I wanted to buy one and then mod it, can this Xbox be modded? I read some of these articles/tutorials and it said...

Since this Xbox 360 Arcade is a newer system, does that mean that it has a Benq drive? Thanks everybody!

I think that's from an older message. The Benqs are totally flashable now and I think they were hacked in late October, so actually from the new drives, benqs are great! I just flashed mine a few days ago. They are also supposedly the most quiet drives out there, but I only know they are more quiet than the launch unit my buddy has.

if you get one with a benq drive, you don't need a mod, just flash it.
