We had 2 powecuts on Tuesday evening. On the latter my Sagem D Box was on but obviously went of at time of powercut. When power came back on my box ceased working and has not worked since.

I have done the usual scanning etc and whilst the scan picks up the tv / radio / data channels (390 odds to be precise) it would appear not to be able to save to the box itself. So much so I now do not even have BBC 1, 2 etc.

I have reconnected my telewest box and that works ok so that rules out a problem with the actual TV itself meaning problem is Sagem D Box.

Can anyone give advice how I can fix my box and get my channels back.

Scotland v Italy game on Saturday so if could fix by then that would be great!!!

Your flash has gone corupt
Just reflash the same image as befor
and rescan.
This time when you get it right ,Bak up Your image..........Paul

Thanks for the speedy reply Paul. At least I know that the problem can be fixed.

As I got the box from a friend I am not to up on how to reflash the same image as before. Could you possibly explain how this is done and how then to back it up.

I am fine with the scanning part of the process so your comments on the flash part would be really appreciated.

Thanks Paul and what I need is instructions on how to fix my corrupt flash. I am ok with rescanning but how I reflash the same image as before I need help on.

Sorry Paul a bit to technical for me.

Basically I have I have a Sagem D-Box DV3 and from what you said earlier my flash has gone corrupt.

What do I need to do to correct this / what software do I need to buy?

Can I get response in lamens terms as I ain't no technical guru by an stretch of the imgination

if that makes any sense i can only get 1 2 3 no 4 then av got 5 6 7 and the rest show the epg but n pic or sound just a blank screen any help please and am in uk

hi sorry to but into ur conversation but i am haveing the same problem. had a power cut but i still have most of the bbc channels and a few other odd ones. not all freeview cause dont get E4. dont ask girlfriend watches hollyoaks. lol
