how can i find out what chip set i have in my wii

is there any site were i can check what chipset i have in my wii my serial is leh13131720.
i have installed a wiikey and have tried everything to get it to work but cant, so i have come to the conclusion that i have got a bad wii or i have a d2c chip set.

If you've already installed a chip, then open it back up, and check to see what chipset you have! IF you see any legs cut on the chips, then that may be a problem on why the Wiikey isn't working! If you have a D2C chipset, it can't be modded with a Wiikey!

Your Drive Chip is most likely GC2-D2B.

Your Drive Pins are most likely cut.

Did you remember to grind the D2B chip down to expose the traces and solder there?

yes the large chip has 3 legs cut i have tried to insert a picture
but cant hope this helps

Okay, well then you need to connect the Chip to those legs that are trimmed! Those legs match a certain point on the Board that the Wiikey was supposed to be soldered to.

how do i go about doing that?
do i cut away at the chip to expose the terminals and solder direct to the chip???? are there any instructions on how to do this that i can look at and follow.
