The eject button on my 360 doesnt work anymore so im wondering is there any way to switch games without using the eject button while theres already a game in the drive. Any input is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Yes lecisy I'm prepared to open up the console seeing as I have flashed mine with ixtreme firmware. What would you suggest I do?

Cant you just go to the dashboard and go to the bottom where it tells you what game is in the drive and open it with the controller?

I don't have a 360 but I'm pretty sure you can just eject the disc using the controller. My modded Xbox can do that.

No cause when the game is already in the only option you have on the dashboard is to play it.

Is it just the button thats broke....so when you press the button do you hear a click, do you not hear anything?

There is indeed a click but the tray just doesnt eject and also the light on the console doesnt blink either.
And also i know thats a good question to ask about opening the console I didnt mean to sound rude about it.

So far from what I've read on this thread, it sounds as if the DVD-ROM is indeed broke, if there is a game inside it sounds as if you're gonna have to open it up and remove the lid (From the DVD-ROM that is..) to remove your game, then get a new DVD-ROM (Or parts if you're that technical/mechanically inclined) and repair it....you also may want to read up on how to flash your DVD-ROM so if/when you do get a new DVD-ROM you can put the "Key" back on your new drive and install it in your 360...Though I'm no expert thats exactly what I'm planning on doing because mine (DVD-ROM) sounds as if its got sand in it, so I need to replace it!
