Pandora Battery / Mem Stick issue

I recently bought a Pandora Battery that came with a 512mb memory stick from ebay to install a custom firmware on my crisis core psp.

Well, I inserted the memory stick then the battery and booted up the the menu that lets me install a custom firmware, problem is that during the process(I might've done something wrong I don't know) the screen split in 4 then auto-matically shutted down my psp.

Afterwards every time I try to load the battery/memstick my psp powers on but there is a blank screen displayed, however, inserting my old slim battery makes my psp work just fine.

I heard that it might be an issue with my memory stick. Is there anyway to find out if my pandora battery is not useless, or do I just need to fix my memory stick?

Please help, I payed $50 for this battery and I really want it to work =(.

its quite easy to fix your mem stick just download total newbie installer it install's everything for you plus m33

Yea, I believe I tried that already and the battery still did not load the menu I had when I first tried it, still just a black screen.

Is it really that easy to ruin a pandora battery?
