Quick memory card question

Okay so i've upgraded my cfw on my psp to 3.71 m33-3, but the question i need answering to is whether i can put my iso games on a bigger memory card, (currently i have a 1GB mem card in there ).
So basically, is it safe to get a new memory card, say, 8GB, and copy paste everything in?

Because I'm not savvy about this 'magic memory stick' concept, since my friend set it up for me.

Quick answers would be appreciated thanks.

yeh its fine. as long as 3.71 m33-3 is installed on your psp and you boot using a normal battery not the pandoras battery.
