ive been trying to do a samsung ms25 i flashed it with the cd.. turnd out it wont play anything now...so i try to flash it and i get this error.. port:ee00 . master/slave.a0 any ideas what this is?

Once you flashed it, it basically became a MS28 and will now have be flashed as such. I hope you have a VIA chipset, because you'll need it. Also I hope you saved your original bin. Check it in toolbox to make sure if it's good.

what if i did not save the orignal bin? i know it was bad but i thought i messed it up so i deleted it and tryed to do it over and well you know the rest

It's sounds like your DVD key isn't in there right now. Without the orig.bin the 360 is basically a brick. You can try dumping the firmware on there now and taking a look at it in toolbox. Toolbox will tell you if it's jacked up and you can look at the DVD key. If it's something like all fffffs you know you are screwed.

i have a hitachi drive that works but the system for the hitachi drive dont work can switch the samsung for the hitachi?

i went to 360HaX.com and found samsung ms25 original firmware to download can i use that?

First off, if you don't have your drive key, you're screwed. If you deleted your orig.bin file and you flashed with a hacked fw that now won't play games, it's because your key isn't inserted correctly in the hacked fw.

If you can't find your orig.bin file, there is no point in dumping the hacked FW and getting your key off that because if it was there, you'd be having no problem.

IF YOU DO have a legit key, then you need to flash the 360 like it was a MS28 to begin with.

Turn on 360
Boot to dos
mtkflash w /m /sata hacked.bin
Turn off 360
Select xtreme primary
Count to 10, turn 360 back on.

ok i never emptied my trash can so i believe there is luck in my future lol
just boot to dos with the ntfs
bring up the iprep promt
then i type in the
mtkflash w /m /sata hacked.bin

and just follow your instructions?

MAKE SURE YOU CHECK YOUR ORIG.BIN FOR A VALID KEY WITH FWTOOLBOX BEFORE U FLASH ANYTHING.

You still need help flashing your drive? I got an easy way to do it with the ntfs4dos program.
