OK, try changing the CPU speed.
To do that, go to recovery mode.
Then go to CPU Speed ->
Speed in UMD/ISO (Currently : Default)
If it's in default and it still lags, then try changing it to 333.

Where did you get your Memory Stick from?

i've actually seen better gameplay when switching to m33 firmware. my brother's psp runs live 08 with no lag or problems on 3.71 m33-3

also, it might be that you switched from 3.40 OE-A to 3.52 m33-4. switching from OE to m33 firmware may cause problems. that's why it's recommended to install any firmware from 1.50 instead of upgrading directly.

I'm 99.9% sure that you have a fake memory stick.

Take a look at that guide.

Here is a Recovery For 3.71 M33

Its worked for me and some other people

You can use it ti go back to 1.50 and reflash up to 3.71 m33-whatever

This might fix some of your problems
