Hi. I just upgraded to 3.72hx-2 and was wondering, if i installed the 1.5 addon on 3.71m33-3 do i have to re-install it or is it a different addon..

You cannot use the 1.50 Patch from 3.71 M33. I haven't heard of an official patch yet, but I have heard of taking the files from the 3.71 M33 flash and pasting in 3.72 HX however.

its very simple:

Here's a tutorial how to get 1.50 fernel on 3.72hx-1.

Warning - You need to manage the Flash0 manually, be extremely careful -Warning

You need files from the Flash0 of 3.71 M33 + 1.50 kernel addon v2 firmware. Make a back-up before installing the 3.72 HX

Creating Flash0's back-up:

1. Go to the Recovery Menu
2. Select Advance
3. Connect your PSP to your PC using a USB Cable
4. Toggle Flash 0
5. Copy the folders to your PC

Install 3.72 HX-1 Firmware

Flashing your folders on 3.72 HX:

1. Go to Recovery Menu
2. Select Advance
3. Toggle Flash 0
4. Copy the folder /km to the root of the Flash0
5. Copy the file root150.prx to /kd/

note: I did not find this out

also theres an official and easy 1.50 adddon for 3.72 HX-1

Homebrew Developer Dark_Moon, the creator of the kernel add-on for Custom Firmware (CFW) 3.72 HX, has released a kernel add-on for CFW 3.72 HX-1. This application allows users to run the 3.71 kernel on the aforementioned firmware for the PSP.

To make it run on 3.72 HX-1, Dark_Moon patched the original program that comes from Dark AleX. Users should be advised that this add-on utility doesn't work on the newly released 3.72-HX2 though.

If you plan on using this application, be careful since it can potentially brick your Sony PlayStation Portable if you misuse it. All the necessary information can be found inside the readme and by checking the PSP forum link below.

So if you install it on 3.72hx-1 and then upgrade to 3.72hx-2 will it still be on there.

yes bacause the update is based on dark_alex 's and it only flashs the needed files to be corrected and those dont include the 1.50 kernel files you made
