What is the EBOOT.PBP named to? If it's called EBOOT.PBP then try taking out the .PBP part. Try and make sure it's in the UPDATE Folder and then report back here.

No, don't rename it to UPDATE.PBP because that is only used for homebrew.. Try taking it out of the UPDATE folder and just pasting in the GAME Folder then, I remember somebody doing that before...

Can you tell us the exact directory for where you're placing the EBOOT.PBP?

PSP, all the way from 1.00 to 5.50 GEN D2 - DS Lite w/ M3DS Real (M3 Sakura v1.34)
PS3 3.01 - iPod Touch 2G 16GB Jailbroken - Xbox 360 60GB - PC, Q6600, 3GB DDR2, GTX260 (216) 896MB

Possibly... but there's probably a simple answer i'm just not seeing.

May i ask why you're wanting to upgrade specifically to 3.03?

If you're looking for a 3.03 Downgrader then you can just simply downgrade using GTA from 2.81 as well :)

You've gotta be kidding me

The directories have to be in capital letters

I.E. X:\PSP\GAME\UPDATE not X:\PSP\Game\Update

Picky

Thanks for trying to help anyways, its working now!

Yea, that's what i was thinking.

@ jason8983 - LOL, why else do we always give PSP directories in caps? It's the only way they work...

If the guide tells you to upgrade then upgrade; there are different downgraders for different firmwares, the one you are using is "coded" for 3.03.
