a few months back i backed up a game for my xbox 360 and it worked fine. i used imgburn. not i used the same programme and tried backing up 2 other games and they both are comming as unreadable. but the 1 game i backed up is still working. please help me i dont want to waste more dvds. does it matter which DVD RL i use?
im having a similar problem. ive been able to backup games just fine using XBC v2.6 but for some reason when i try to backup Assassins Creed i will get an error "disk is unreadable" in mid-game play. ive already wasted about 6 disks trying different things and each time i end up making a coaster out of it.
i have a Samsung Kreon Drive (recently flashed with v1.0)
a Lite-on dvdrw lh-20A1S 9L02 Burner
using XBC v 2.6 reading at 6x
Imgburn (latest)buring at 2.4x
and Memorex DVD+R DL (which ive never had a problem with before)
i can still play just fine using the Original DVD but for some reason my backups arent working right
I was actually searching the site for this issue, didn't expect to see it as a topic started today. Anyhoo, don't worry about Assassins Creed, It seems many people have had the same problem, I think it is the rip and not the actual copy, although I definately could be wrong.
I've been using XBC to make my backups and they have been good until today. I tried to make Dead Rising and Mass effect, both gave me the message game must be in 360 to play, as if I put it in a regular dvd Player. I checked both games with multiple programs and they all say they were both stealth patched. I bought my 360 from a guy, but I'm almost postitive he said it was a Sammy drive.
I'm currently trying cdclone right now to see if I can get a working mass effect, I'll let you know.
So I tried again, first I got working back ups of both mass effect and Assassins creed. First I guess the img of assassins creed I had was a bad one so I got a different one and it worked perfectly. I retried Mass effect and it worked perfectly. Both I did in CDclone, and I rebuilt the .dvd file in xdvdmulleter.
Don't know exactly what made the dif, but definately my first assassins creed sucked bawls and cdclone is my new burner of choice.
Hope this helps somebody else as I've been helped here time and time again, these forums are full of the most helpful people on the net.

how did u get a different one? and what is the option to rebuild the .dvd in xdvdmulleter?
