Will Nero make copies of 360 backups?

Hey guys, I see where CloneCD and DVD Decrypter will work to make backup disks of XBOX360 backups, but will Nero will also? If so, do I need to do anything special besides just copying the enire disk? Thank you!!

nero 8 and i think 7 just copy dvd and thats it

Thanks immy, I appreciate, you just copy the entire dvd and nothing else right? I am getting my 360 modded and don't have it yet, but have backups and was wondering about that.

no, you need a special drive flashed with the kreon firmware to read the disc and create an iso to your hard drive. once you have the iso, you can burn to a dual layer dvd+r.
i think Nero 7 will work as long as you set the layerbreak. however, i have been using imgburn and never had a bad backup burn.

Cool Tyler, you are right because I burned the copy of the backup with Nero 8 (non-flashed drive) and it didn't work. Thanks man for the help.

sorry forgot to mention you need the kreon drive to read the game but you dont need to do anything else just copy dvd and it works i have done it my self and backups of back ups work perfect

get yourself any of the new sammy drive the shd162a b c or d the b and d are widely available for like £12 and flash it with kreons which will take you about 1 minute and then you can just do strait backups of backups

yes, by far the Samsung drives are the easiest way to make a backup of an original disc. Xbox Backup creator being the program of choice for making the image. DVDmulleter the program of choice for checking an image for stealth (not needed if you make it with your Sammy from the original as that copy will always be stealth).
IMGburn my program of choice for burning, layer break is only needed if your using an old version or if you are burning the ISO file rather than the .DVD file.
And Nero 7 will make a perfect back up of any game that you have already backed up once so no need to re-rip theoriginal disc. Just do a disc copy with Nero from the back up you already have. Assuming that the backup you are copying still works.

Thanks Steimy, I was frustrated opening up all these Wal Mart dvd drives last week when I first saw your post about the Samsung, so MUCH APPRECIATED!!! So MUCH easier than cranking them open. I had searched online about the best way to copy your orignals and just saw the Wxripper method, so I'm sure glad I found this site!!
