ok I downloaded a game for the kids. it's a .CSO fotmat. I connected the PSP to the computer and tranfered the game. I can not get it to start. so I looked on the internet in what director to install it. and I read in multiple pages that's in PSP/GAMES directory. but there is not such thing on my memory stick so I'm assuming that I may need to install other things to get the PSP to read the game. If so. can someone give me the simple way to get this working. I don't have much time to put into it. but hopeful I can get this to work.

i have the same problem this guy he moded for me the games he gave me they are working but then i downloaded some games and they rar files and then converted them into iso files and when i put them in to my iso folder it doesnt show at all on my psp help me in this regard

well you right clik on any of the rars that you dowloaded and clik extarct file

and the files thats extracted should be an image file

or iso file

no way man i don't have time to be online every day
i join aterdawn a year ago and i have 990 posts but to be honest i never thought to be a afterdawn addict to make 2500 posts is just insane i dont have much free time and i have other stuff to do lol

I went under System settings / system information and it says version 2.81 . Am I looking in the right place? about placing the .CSO file in the ISO folder. there is no ISO folder, game folder, video folder in the memory card. so I placed it in the PSP folder and tried moving it to other folders as well. but the game doesn't show up.

while i'm at it. does anyone know where i can get a case were the games come in. because GTA game that the games have said it only worked for a month. i looked at the CD and it's looks fine but i noticed the plastic cover/case the games come in was messed up and i need to replace it. thank you.

Yeah...Plz put ur firmware nextime somewhere in your post.

Pandora its the way to go if you're on any firmware above 3.50

There are guides everywhere on how to downgrade

Here are three that also unbrick your psp

Universal Unbricker DC-3 + MS Multi IPL Loader

Pandora: Using Custom Firmware To Make

Total Newbie PSP Slim+Fat Pandora's Battery creator
And here are several downgrading guides to downgrade if you don't want to use pandora.

I recommend use this Ultimate downgrading guide..because your on 2.81

but if anything goes wrong then use any of the three guides above to unbrick your psp.

Hope this works. ;)

Edit: This will take you down to 1.50

Post back after you're on 1.50 and i'll help you get to a custom firmware

Brick = Equals..flash of your psp gets corrupted.

If your psp gets bricked the only thing that your psp would do is just sit there and show a black screen when u turn it on.

You won't be able to do anything with ur psp unless u ubrick it.

Yup..you can just unbrick

and about permanent damagaed only happened in 3.71 M33-2 but its fixed in 3.71 M33-3
