I used that total noob tutorial, but it didn't work for me at all. Are there any other good tutorials that I can follow?

-Download the Benq firmware and dosflash16 files.

-put the contents of the dosflash16 folder and firmware on the root of the harddisk drive your using.

-ntfs4dos. Google it then burn the ISO to a CDR. Also your harddisk drive must be the NTFS format. [note]If its not use partition magic[note]

Turn on your PC and boot from the NTFS4DOS CD. Hit the Enter then when asked type in Yes hit the Enter key.

You will then get to a screen that shows your drives. please notice your drive letter that has been mounted at the top.
You will need to know this when typing in commands. also it might be a`different drive letter than what it said under windows

-cd to the path where your dosflash files are located.

-turn the xbox on.

-type dosflash16 then hit enter

-type Y to what the question says then hit enter, turn off xbox for 5 secs then turn it back on.

try again if it doesn't work. when you see the screen with a bunch of ports type the port # (for ex: Bx400)
or it might give you the option to choose a number.

-Choose READ to dump the orig.bin.

Exit to windows and go to you harddisk and find the orig.bin that just got dumped.

Copy that file to your benq ixtreme folder. Create a hacked fw then move that file back to the root of the harddisk.
remember the file name. then follow the same steps above but this time choose WRITE

Wait, you want me to use my HDD in the process, but just tell it not to boot through the BIOS? The rest I pretty much understand.

And thanks.
