I know this has been posted more then a million times but...
WTF can i do to get around the (80020148)
i disabled all the options in the recovery menu and i looked all around this site, but nothing worked...
i have the 1.50 Kernel, my friend cracked it for me... so i wont know too much.
it rejects mostly all of the newer ISO games... such as Sims castaway, traxxpad along with some other games.
is there a update to the OS that allows me to run newer ISO games??

I'm fairly new here. I'm gonna take a stab in the dark here.
I'm assuming the reason ISOs of newer games are not working on your 1.50 FW would be because newer games require a FW of 2.00 or higher.
I'm probably wrong. I'm as n00b as they come.

You say you have 1.50 kernel so i assume you have 3.71 M33-whatever

because if you had 1.50 which i don't think you do
because you say u have a recovery menu
first i want you to tell me what firmware u have

MusicBase, check in the recovery menu if you have it set to "NO UMD REQUIRED" something...people always forget to set it that way...
is your firmware 3.71 M33-3? if not, then upgrade...

if that helps at all...

Yeah get 3.52 M33-4
Use this guide here
and once u get up to 3.52 M33
go straight to the fourth update don't go through M33-2..M33-3..M33-4
Just go to M33-4
After you get to 3.52 M33-4..post back and ill give you a guide on how to get your iso's to work.

Well everybody that's gone from an OE-A..have had bugs..including my self..when going up to M33.
So it is highly recommended to go to a clean 1.50 and from there go up tp any M33.

well i did the
"Execute '3.52 M33 CREATOR' under GAME on your PSP."
and its been writing 3.52 for almost an hour now... is it frozen or what??
cuz the orange, memory stick light is blinking...
but its been at for some time now.

Yeah i was a afraid of that same thing happened to me.
Go up to 3.40 Oea and run the creator there and then go back down to 1.50 and run the update from there.
it always worked for me when i did it this way
