i am planning to buy a psp slim and i want to downgrade it but how do i do that?

to downgrade ur psp u need a pandora battery
to make a pandora battery u either need a fat psp running custom firmware or u can hardmod ur battery but that requires u to buy a spare battery.
there is absolutely no other way to downgrade ur psp slim

I won't use the word "downgrade" with the PSP Slim.
The Slim is undowngradeable.
So I call it "re-flashing"
Anyways, you must download the Despertar del Cementero 3(Universal Unbricker V3)

The files were created by Dark_AleX.

Just hardmod your battery by opening it and cutting out the 5th pin. Oh, BTW, if you don't have custom firmware then DC3 won't work. So download the TotalNewbi Installer. That can be found at DL.QJ.net.

Here's my mini tut :)
1)Download TotalNewbi Installer.
2)Install the magic memory files onto your MS using TotalN Installer.
3)Open your battery.
4)Cut the 5th pin off.
5)Insert your Magic memory stick and then place the JigKick(battery) into your PSP.
6)Now, just upgrade to 3.71M33.

NOTE**
You will brick your Slim's BATTERY if you open it. You must have a genuine FAT battery to do this.

if u have a friend tht u have a cfw installed u can choose the slim n if u dont u can choose the phat.i prefer phat coz its the most one used than slim for the psp experts.the slim is usually owned by new people in the psp world.well its just my suggestions lol..
