Firmware 3.71 VSH menu problems

Hi there.

My SLIM PSP was updated to the 3.71 M33-2 firmware and worked flawlessly. I can enable the vsh menu in the XMB and do whatever I wanted. However, a few days ago, i don't know what happened but i might'ved changed something on the vsh menu on the XMB.

I have problems navigating the XMB. It will not respond to the buttons except for the volume up and down buttons. By enabling the HOLD button near the power switchthe VHS menu will pop up, but again, I cant navigate anywhere.

weird, theres nothing wrong with the control butons as i can navigate the recovery. Another strange thing is that, if i were to disable VSH menu in the recovery, i can finally navigate around in the XMB. BUT... if i am to try and exit a game with the home button... every button control gets locked up again, and i cannot select "yes."

I have NO idea how to resolve this as i tried to reflash it with pandora by bricking and unbricking, update it to MM-3, tried every combination in the recovery menu, resetted flash0 to its default settings.

Anyone want to take a stab? I know its a long essay i wrote...
any help is greatly appreciated!

since u can access recovery,try formatting the flash1.

yes, I have tried that under advanced configurations "format flash1 and reset settings."

no good! :(

this is my 1000th posts.yay...u can try this m8,reflash ur fw n then upgrade to 3.71M33-3.this is the 1000th charm hopefully it'll work.
