I am having all kinds of DVD burning problems. I am new at it and things aren't working well. I have an external Sony DRX-510UL on an IBM X30 laptop with a 40 GB hardrive, and 1 GB of RAM. I bought DVD XCopy Xpress. I popped in a copy of a DVD I had bought and a few minutes into reading the original, DVD XCopy Xpress gave me the following message:
Error occurred reading sectors! Data: 1/0. i then clicked ok and it said unable to read DVD. Why did this happen? I thought DVD Xcopy Xpress was supposed to be easy. it worked for another movie i tried to copy.
It did read and write other disks. What is weird is that I tried it three times before it finally copied my disk. The first two times I got that error message. Then when I tried to make another copy from the original, I keep getting the same error message and I haven't been able to make another copy. Thanks.
You might have hard drive space issues. I think for xcopy you need 10 gb of hard drive space available. I have 280 gb on my desktop-- one drive devoted to video (160 gb)
dvd xpress seems to be very sensitive, they have whats called a blacklist....it won't work properly with certain programs installed on your PC,heres some of the top of my head...Nero IN CD,direct cd,B's clip,go back, most DLA's Mcaffee anti- virus, norton anti-virus and Interactual Player and PC Friendly Player, these all have an effect on dvdx copy xpress
