Hi,

Is there a program that will convert psp game files to an iso?

I have a few games that are in rar format.

Thanks in advance for any advice

Kind Regards

You don't need to convert them, you need to extract them.

If you don't have WinRAR, go to Google and type in "WinRAR download", download the file (you can either open it or save it), and install it. Once you've done that, double-click the RAR file (the game you want to play), and it should open up WinRAR and show you either an .ISO or .CSO file of the game. Copy that to (X being whatever your PSP drive letter is when you have it connected to your PC) X:/ISO (this all depends on what firmware you have, of course). Then go to your PSP menu, go to game, memory stick, and the game should appear. If you're using DevHook, you'll have to load it from that.

What firmware do you have? This is an important factor to allowing you to play these.

I dont think I am explaining myself correctly.

I have upgraded to 3.71 M33 and have no problems playing games in iso format.

When I extract the rar, I end up with lots of different files instead of one iso file.

Thanks for the help.

You probably have WinRAR associated with ISO files which will show a WinRAR icon on ISO files.

Extracting the ISO will extract the files inside the PSP ISO file itself.

Start Win RAR and choose OPTIONS then SETTINGS.

Click on the INTEGRATION TAB.

Untick the ISO box under "Associate WinRAR with..."

Click OK and then close WinRAR.

Now there should no longer be a WinRAR icon for ISO files.
