So, I have successfully flashed my H/LG (47D I believe) with the X360USB gadget, a very easy process in my opinion.
Worked like a charm, and I have had no trouble with it at all, and still no problems. Even though due to a recent total cpu breakdown I have lost my original firmware .bin file, you know the one created by the Iextreme flash utility. and now IŽm wondering, can i restore my original from a hacked firmware?
Because I will have to reflash my original before i update my flash, right? And IŽm going to want to update sooner or later, as soon as there is an update, as a matter of fact.
Have tried searching the forums, and saw some guy somewhere who said something like, "send me your hacked firmware file and IŽll make you an original" that was for a sammy though, would this be possible for the hitachi aswell? and I would rather do it myself, not send my files to anyone, point me in the right direction please.
Afterdawn has been a big help to me in all my software/hardware mods through out the years, hoping this will all work out aswell.
Thanks dudes, and peace.
and oh yeah, thanks in advance!;)
Ok cool, so I could do a full restore, without my orig.bin file?
And then flash with a brand spankinŽ new Ixtreme?
Got pretty shaky, with all that about making a four digit unique number, and thought IŽd have to get a new system, just to update.
