I wanted to talk about my recent upset. I rented a certain game figuring it would be good with all the hype that surrounded it. Many of you have already said this but once again I'm just venting frustration. Can anyone guess what game I'm talking about? Heavenly Sword! WTF was that crap. Sony stick to God of War if you're going to make a game like that. Even Path of Neo was better than that crap. I figured once I got past the crap graphics and gameplay that a decent story would unfold. Even the story was crap. To anyone that has yet to play it rent it but DO NOT BUY IT! You will be disappoined.

I'd have to totaly disagree with you... i thought it was a great game... the graphics, gameplay, and story line were all great IMO.

i agree that it sucked, it was repetetive as hell, but then again im not a fan of button smashers. The only cool part was blowing the crap out of crowds of people with the cannon.

I couldn't disagree with you more. Crap graphics? Everything about that game was fricken gorgeous. I will say that I wasn't happy with the length of the game, but keeping that in mind I don't think the game lasted long enough to be considered repetitive. Kai's archery sections broke up whatever monotony might have been building.

I only rented it, but I did play completely through it. Given it's length I can't advise a retail purchase, though if I were to stumble across a used copy at a reasonable price I'd pick it up...

the only part i liked about that game was how good the water looked at the end when she was floating down the river.

I play on a high def tv and in my opinion they were crap graphics compared to that of other good ps3 games. The backgroung were gorgeous yes, but the gameplay graphics were not that good in my opinion. God of War looked just as good and it is a last gen game.
