hi. i just got a psp off mah friend, and im not sure if its slim or not, i think its not. its a version 3.52

i downloaded a psp game. n want to play it on mah psp.
can someone help me how to do it plz .... T-T@ plz

some questions-> do i have to custom my firmware? if yes to what version? is customing firmware safe? can it brick my psp? is it easy? is it just installing some stuffs on my memory stick?
is there any other way to play psp downloaded game?

n i have ".cso" file. do i have to convert it to iso?? to play on psp?

plz help me T-T and thx for reading.

You do have to custom your firmware.
Ver 3.52M33 is good, but the latest 3.71M33 is good too.
You can brick your PSP, but it's unlikely if you can follow directions.
There is no other way to play a downloaded game
No need to convert CSO to ISO.. CSO is just a compressed ISO so it fits on a memory card

I usually try to answer questions directly presented to me and nothing else. This prevents me from pointing a person in a direction they didn't want.

O.K., I'm guessing you want to know how to put custom firmware on yours. I believe anyone who has 3.52 firmware has to use a Pandoras battery to downgrade to 1.5 first then can upgrade to the latest custom firmware. Just do a search for pandoras battery on these forums and find a guide your comfortable with.

You're welcome. I bought my PSP off Ebay with custom firmware already on it so I never had to concern myself with the battery.

There's one guide which requires you to have access to a friend's PSP which already has CFW on it. And there's a guide somewhere which calls for you to lift a pin on your battery to make a pandoras battery, and if you're careful you'll be able to re-solder that pin to put it back to normal. Or you can purchase a Pandoras battery off the net so you dont ruin your's.
